Terms of service
Version 2026-08-21 · Mission Success Solutions, LLC
1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
Mission Ready Academy (the “Academy”) is operated by Mission Success Solutions, LLC (“MSS,” “we”), a Texas limited liability company and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business in San Angelo, Texas. These terms govern your purchase and use of training on the Academy at academy.missionsuccesssolutions.com. They supplement the company-wide Terms of Service and Privacy Policy published at missionsuccesssolutions.com, which also apply; for Academy purchases, where the two differ, these terms govern.
2. Accounts
Your email address is your account. Individuals sign in by a link or code sent to that address; organization members sign in as their organization requires. You are responsible for keeping access to your email address secure and for activity under your account. Access to a course or plan is for one named learner and may not be shared.
3. What you are buying
A course purchase opens that course to the named learner for the access period stated at checkout. A plan opens every course in its tier while the plan is active and renews automatically until canceled. Seat licenses and organization agreements are governed by the order or contract that creates them. Content may be updated; the version you enrolled in stays available to you for your access period.
4. Payment
Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout and are the prices that apply. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. Bitcoin Lightning payments are final when settled. Plans are billed in advance at the start of each period and renew automatically until you cancel from your account; cancellation stops future charges and access continues to the end of the paid period.
5. Refunds
See the refund policy, which is part of these terms.
6. Certificates
A Certificate of Completion records that the named learner finished every required lesson of a course. It is not a professional certification, license, or credential, and it does not certify competence. Anyone may confirm a certificate at academy.missionsuccesssolutions.com/verify.
7. Intellectual property and license
Mission Success Solutions, LLC retains all right, title, and interest in its pre-existing materials, methodologies, frameworks, assessments, and training curricula, including every MSS skill model, course, lesson, document, template, and job aid on the Academy, and the LIVA audit and workshop materials. Nothing you buy transfers ownership of any of it.
Upon payment in full, the purchaser receives a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the course materials delivered to the named learner for the purchaser’s internal business purposes only. For an individual purchase that means your own learning and your own work; for an organization purchase, seat license, or plan (including All-Access), it means use by the named learners inside that organization. Access to the platform itself runs for the period stated at purchase; the license to materials you downloaded during that period survives it.
No course material or deliverable may be resold, republished, sublicensed, shared outside the licensed learner or organization, or used to provide training, consulting, or other services to third parties, in whole or in part, without MSS’s prior written authorization. Downloaded documents may carry the learner’s name and the date.
One such authorization is granted here. A person who holds a current Mission-Ready Resilience Professional certification is authorized to instruct the Mission-Ready Resilience course and, to support that instruction, to make and distribute copies of the official Mission-Ready Resilience training materials, solely for teaching purposes. The authorization begins when the credential is issued and ends when the credential expires or is revoked; anyone may confirm a credential’s standing at academy.missionsuccesssolutions.com/verify.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access content you have not purchased, interfere with the platform, or use it to store or transmit material the platform is not offered for. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Training is not advice, and results are not guaranteed
Courses are training, provided as described. They are not legal, financial, accounting, tax, procurement, cybersecurity, compliance, or other regulated professional advice; decisions and their execution remain yours. We do not guarantee revenue, contract awards, business growth, risk elimination, regulatory approvals, hiring outcomes, or any other business, financial, career, or compliance result. The platform is aligned to CMMC Level 2 / NIST SP 800-171; alignment is not certification.
10. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law the Academy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability, and MSS is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages. MSS’s total liability for any claim relating to the Academy is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase the claim concerns. These limits do not replace the terms of a separate written agreement between your organization and MSS.
11. Law, venue, and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from them is brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in Tom Green County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise. We may update these terms; the version current when you buy is the one recorded with your purchase, and continued use after a change means you accept it. The Academy is intended for learners 18 and older.
