Sales tax

Prices exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout from your billing address. When an order that collected sales tax is refunded, the refund includes the tax collected on the refunded amount.

Courses bought by card

Write to [email protected] from the address on the order, with the order number and the reason. Requests are considered case by case and answered within five business days. When a refund is issued it goes back to the card you paid with through Stripe, and access to the course ends when the refund is applied. A Certificate of Completion already issued for a refunded course is revoked.

Certification attempts

A certification attempt, and a retake, are refundable until the attempt starts. Write to [email protected] from the address on the order, with the order number, and the attempt is refunded and withdrawn. Once you start the attempt it is not refundable: the examination has been drawn and sat, and the result stands whether you passed or not. An unused attempt runs out at the end of the window shown on the order, and an expired attempt is not refunded.

Plans

Cancel any time from your account; no further charges are made and access continues to the end of the period you paid for. A charge already made for the current period is not refunded except where the law requires it.

Bitcoin Lightning

Lightning payments are final when settled. The network has no chargeback and the provider has no refund path. If MSS agrees to a refund of a Lightning purchase, it is an MSS decision made case by case and paid out manually.

Organizations

Purchase orders, invoices, and seat licenses are refunded according to the order or contract that created them.
