Privacy policy

This policy covers the Academy at academy.missionsuccesssolutions.com. It supplements the company-wide Privacy Policy of Mission Success Solutions, LLC, which also applies; the Academy is a separate platform, and this page describes only what it does.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, name, and time zone; for organization members, your organization and role; sign-in records (time, IP address, device description) and, if you enroll it, an encrypted authenticator secret.
• Learning: enrollments, lesson progress, time on lessons, your workbook entries, work you submit for review and its scores, and certificates issued to you.
• Purchases: orders, plan status, and payment records from the processor. We never receive or store card numbers.
• Requests: what you send through the quote form.

Why

To deliver the training you bought, keep your account secure, issue and verify certificates, bill plans, answer your requests, and keep the records a business must keep. We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising.

Who sees it

• Stripe processes card payments and holds your card details; its privacy terms apply to that.
• Cloudflare carries traffic to the platform and stores course files; it sees connection data.
• HubSpot receives quote requests from organizations as a sales record.
• Our mail server sends sign-in links, receipts, and certificates.
• Your organization, if you learn under an organization agreement, can see your enrollment and completion status for the courses it provides.
• Work you submit for review is scored by an automated grader against the published rubric. Mission Success Solutions staff with grading rights see every graded submission and may review and change any score; nobody in your organization reads what you submit. Your submissions are never used to train any model.

A certificate’s public verification page shows the holder’s name, the course, the date, and whether the certificate stands, to anyone with its code.

How long

Account and learning records stay while your account exists. Certificates and the audit trail behind them are kept so they can be verified later. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Sign-in links and codes expire in minutes and are stored only as hashes.

Your choices

You can update your name from your account, and you can ask us to export or delete your account by writing to [email protected]. Deleting an account ends access; certificate records may be retained in the form needed to keep verification honest.

Security

The platform is aligned to CMMC Level 2 / NIST SP 800-171; alignment is not certification. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is logged, and content access is decided by one rule on the server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. See also the terms of service.

Children

The Academy is intended for learners 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. We may update it; the revised version is posted here with its date.
